MV Vikingfjord is the greenest small expedition ship in the Arctic, built for bold journeys and wild landscapes.
She has recently been fitted with a new propulsion system that meets Tier 3 emissions standards.
Strengthened for sea ice and equipped with two zodiacs, Vikingfjord is made to take you beyond the ordinary – deep into the heart of the polar wilderness.
MV Vikingfjord offers three comfortable cabin types – spacious 15 m² Penthouse and Twin/Double cabins with either a double or twin beds, and a cozy 10 m² Single cabin. All cabins feature an ensuite bathroom, desk and chair, wardrobe, and are thoughtfully designed with comfort and functionality in mind.

The North Atlantic Arctic is home to an incredible variety of wildlife. Polar bears, walrus, Arctic foxes, and reindeer inhabit the coastal and tundra landscapes, while the surrounding seas support seals, whales such as humpbacks and belugas, and even the elusive blue whale. Birdlife thrives during the summer months, with puffins, guillemots, kittiwakes, and other seabirds nesting along dramatic cliffs and remote shorelines.
